What is GRAETA?
GRAETA is a botanical clay mask brand centered on intentional skincare rituals. Each formula combines mineral-rich clays with curated botanical ingredients to help detox, brighten, and restore the skin.
Why is the mask in powder form?
Water breeds bacteria, requiring heavy synthetic preservatives. By keeping our masks dry, we offer a 100% active formula free of chemicals, fillers, and shelf-stabilizers that lasts longer and stays completely fresh until the moment you activate it.
How long will one jar last?
One jar yields approximately 8-12 full-face applications. If you only use it as a spot treatment or on your T-zone, a single jar can last up to 15-20 uses.
How do i use it?
Mix 1-2 teaspoons with a small amount of water or hydrosol until it forms a smooth paste. Apply to clean skin, leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
How often should i use it?
Use 1-2 times per week depending on your skin's needs.
Can I use both masks in the same week?
Absolutely. This is called "multi-masking" and it yields incredible results. Use the Detox Mask on Sunday to purge pores and control oil, and use the Glow Mask on Wednesday or Thursday to fade marks and boost radiance.
can i mix the mask with something other than water?
Yes. Powder formula can be mixed with liquids such as:
- Rose water
- Honey or yogurt
- Green tea (cool)
is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. We purposefully formulated the Brightening Mask with gentle kaolin clay and colloidal oatmeal to protect compromised skin. The Detox Mask contains aloe and gotu kola to buffer the strong clays.
Is it normal for my face to look slightly red after rinsing?
Yes, mild temporary redness is completely normal, especially with the Detox Mask. The active clays and willow bark increase localized blood circulation to flush out toxins. This usually fades within 20–30 minutes, which is why we recommend masking at night.
Do i need to do a patch test?
Yes. We recommend performing a patch test before using any skincare product. Apply a small amount of the prepared mask to a small area of skin, such as the inside of your wrist or behind your ear, and wait 24 hours to check for any sensitivity or irritation before applying it to your face.
is graeta safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Our formulas are made with naturally derived ingredients. However, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider during pregnancy or breastfeeding, especially if you have sensitivities to botanical extracts.
should the mask fully dry on my skin?
For best results, rinse the mask before it fully dries. Keeping clay slightly damp helps prevent excessive dryness and keeps skin comfortable.
how should i store the mask?
Keep the powder sealed and stored in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.
Why can't I use metal bowls or spoons with the Detox Mask?
Bentonite clay carries a strong negative electrical charge that pulls positively charged toxins out of your skin. Touching metal deactivates this charge, making the mask far less effective. Stick to wood, glass, ceramic, or plastic.
is graeta cruelty-free?
Yes. Our products are vegan and never tested on animals.

where are you located?
GRAETA is based in the United States, where all orders are carefully packed and shipped.
Where do you ship?
We ship within the United States, Canada, and select international destinations. Orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes determined by the destination country.
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking infromation.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
If your order has not yet shipped, we may be able to update your address. Please contact us as soon as possible.
what if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can assist you.
Can I place an order as a gift?
Yes. Our products make thoughtful gifts, and pricing is not included on packing slips.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Due to the nature of skincare products, we currently do not accept returns on opened items. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours so we can make it right.
How long do refunds take?
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for refund to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.
Do you refund shipping fees?
Any original or return-related shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Can i sell graeta products in my store or on website?
We welcome partnerships with select boutiques, spas, and retailers who share our appreciation for thoughtful skincare rituals.
